Hot Clube building burned last Monday night. The club itself didn't burned but got seriously damaged by the water used to end the fire. Besides all the material damages, the club is closed because building is not safe. This situation will last until the building gets repaired...we lose this way, a house for many jazz musicians and jazz lovers. This is a real tragedy that could have been avoided, have the landlord of the building, the Lisboa mayor, taken the long time needed decisions to rebuild the building.
Our major concern is to have the only Jazz Club in Lisboa back. With sadness, my duo concert with Andre Matos is cancelled. |
